Live from GenB TV Music’s Brick Lane collaboration with Sparks, Amardeep Sura chats with rising star Siobhan Elouise – a vibrant, urban energy setting the tone for a heartfelt dialogue about music, identity, and community.
“Siobhan, talk to me. Why are we here today?”
Her answer is simple and strong: “We are here today to celebrate the community and the music that we bring.”

That celebration is at the core of Siobhan’s story. Community, for her, isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a driving force. When asked what community means to her, her response cuts through the noise:
“Community means pulling together outside of money and status and all of that stuff. Community means just loving thy neighbour.”
It’s a refreshing reminder of the value in shared humanity. For Siobhan, that love lives in the local—the corner shops, the small gestures, the familiar faces.

She brings up her local shopkeeper—the “boss man”—with the kind of affection usually reserved for family.
“Nobody knows me better than my boss man,” she laughs. “He’s seen me with holes in the sweat… mango. Yeah, he’s seen all of it.”
And beyond just a familiar face, he’s become a part of her extended circle. “He actually buys me a Christmas present every year,” she adds, with a quiet sense of warmth. It’s those kinds of moments that reveal how real community is built—not through big gestures, but through consistent, genuine care.
But Siobhan’s journey extends well beyond her local ends. She’s recently been recognised on a much larger stage—named as one of only ten artists selected for the MOBO Awards’ Future of R&B and Neo-Soul initiative.
“Phenomenal to be part of this organisation,” she says. “To be selected as the future of R&B and neo soul music in the UK and beyond is insane.”
It’s a milestone that marks a shift—not just in her career, but in how she sees herself in the wider music landscape.
“Now I feel like I’m walking behind people who have inspired my journey, and I’m now walking on the same level with them. Like I’m walking with the elephants at the moment.”
Amardeep affirms what everyone watching already feels: “You’re exactly where you should be.”

With her feet on the ground and her heart in the music, Siobhan Elouise stands as a voice of both the present and the future—a testament to what can grow when community, talent, and authenticity come together.
And if her boss man’s reading, we’re sure he’s proud too.
