ADELE CONVINCES SPOTIFY TO REMOVE ‘SHUFFLE’ FEATURE FOR ALBUMS

Placing the art back in to the music, Adele successfully convinces Spotify to remove the shuffle button across all albums. The singer-songwriter tweeted, “we don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank you Spotify for listening”.

Following the release of new album ’30’, Adele puts her six year hiatus to an end  with #1 charting project.

Adele sets an example for all the new-age listeners, letting them know the importance of music and its structure. A Spotify employee spoke on the new feature saying “They were “excited” to be rolling out the feature which was “long requested by both users and artists “Spotify users could still choose to shuffle an album, but the system would default to playing tracks in the order chosen by the artist”.

This new feature is undeniably a forward step to bringing a well-structured listening experiences to global audiences!
