Yesterday (March 9th), soothing singer Amaroun dropped ‘Brown Skin Beauty’. The new single is the follow up to her recent offering ‘Floating’ and offers a platform to reclaim the power of her own narrative and find acceptance in her brown and queer skin.
The atmospheric song opens with sharp keys, thudding beats and embracing vocals before descending into a plead for those struggling with self-love and self-acceptance to go easy on themselves.

Accompanying the track is a self-directed video, which comes as a collaboration with Sophia Brown, who is seen dancing, twisting and turning to the song’s pulsing beat upon sparse, grassy terrain.
