BENJIFLOW RELEASES NEW EP “THE THRILL”

North-London artist BenjiFlow releases his EP “The Thrill”. The 9-track body of work is his most ambitious and exhilarating yet, demonstrating his incredibly versatile musical ability once again. A natural evolution from his debut EP at the turn of the decade, BenjifFlow returns with his trademark amorous tones and contemporary melting pot of smooth sounds. He effortlessly melds UK R&B, Afro-cuban rhythms, West African pop, and sounds of South America such as samba, bossa nova, and salsa into something so uniquely his own. Featuring appearances by Nigerian singer Oxlade and Afrobeats pioneer Juls, the EP is a force to be reckoned with, beckoning listeners into the brilliance that is BenjiFlow’s artistic vision.

“She’s Not In Love” is a notable highlight from this bountiful 9-tracker, Benjiflow artfully weaving his voice between the wandering strings and staggered rhythms, relating a heartfelt tale of rejection through the elegant melodies and sauntering chords. The most recent single to be released from the project was “Ready”,received with widespread playlist support across Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon, the track dominated ‘New Music Friday’ channels and genre specific playlistings alike, BenjiFlow’s ability to appease a wide range of tastemakers is a testament to his critical acclaim. Additional recent single “My Bella” is currently on the Radio 1Xtra B-list, another accolade and signifier that BenjiFlow is on the rise.

“The Thrill” follows BenjiFlow’s 2020 acclaimed debut EP BENERGY which has over 6 million streams and features the singles ‘Jolene’, ‘Can’t Lose’ and ‘Deep End’, which was playlisted at BBC 1Xtra alongside impressive support from Beats 1, BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Dummy, HungerTV, in addition to becoming Radioactive Record of the Week. Last year also saw BenjiFlow asked to be the first artist to make an appearance on Boiler Room’s ‘ENERGY’ series.
