Kendrick Lamar performs “N95”, “Saviour” during Glastonbury

After Glastonbury’s delay by three years, Kendrick Lamar took to the Pyramid Stage to close off Glastonbury Festival in Worthy Farm, Somerset, England. The Compton-based PG-lang founding rapper was slated to perform for Glastonbury 2020 but was delayed due to COVID-19.

During the Glastonbury performance, he wore a diamond-encrusted crown with dancers behind him performing choreography, he performed highlights from Mr. Morale such as “N95”, “Silent Hill” before closing off “Saviour” with a profound plea against Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, yelling repeatedly “Godspeed for Women’s rights; they judge you, they judge Christ!”

If anyone’s been taking advantage of the freedoms given to us, it’s certainly Kendrick Lamar; he released his earth-shattering final TDE album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppas” which climbed up to Number One on the charts, performed at a Louis Vuitton Men’s SS22 showcase, announced a global tour and, shared a Spotify documentary with his recent visit to Ghana.

You can watch a performance of “Saviour” below.
