Nigerian artist, Terri, is back with his six-track sophomore EP titled ‘In Transit’.
This comes in the wake of an impressive year for the rising star. He received his first Grammy nomination for his contributions to Wizkid’s album Made In Lagos, collaborating with Walshy Fire (from Major Lazer) and Smallgod.
‘In Transit’ sees Terri collaborate with some of the hottest producers in Nigeria — namely Krizbeatz & P.Priime — as well as a feature from Mugeez (one-half of Ghanaian duo R2Bees). The lead single for the project, Danger, garnered three million plays in a few weeks. It is no surprise either, Terri seems in his element on this track. The artist glides across a beautiful track blending both afropop and R&B, carrying this through the entire project with track after track that you can’t help but move to.
“I spent the past year exploring different sounds and honing my craft – this project is an account of that artistic journey, as well as my personal journey going through the different emotions of love, relationships, and romance.” The artist said, ‘In Transit’ is a transition from where I was musically, to where I am now, and where I’m headed. It’s me thinking about where I’m coming from, acknowledging my growth, and getting closer to my goals.”
