Tyler Perry, the renowned filmmaker, actor, and media mogul, is facing a $260 million lawsuit filed in California by Derek Dixon, an actor who appeared in Perry’s BET+ series The Oval and Ruthless. According to the legal complaint, Dixon claims that Perry offered him acting opportunities in exchange for sexual compliance. He describes experiencing severe mental health effects, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression, as a result of these experiences.
