Atlanta rapper, Latto has dropped a star-studded video for her track ‘It’s Givin.’ The video enlists Ella Mai, Flo Milli, Bailey Angie Martinez, Chloe Bailey, Angela Simmons, Nadeska Alexis, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, and more.
Asides from the lineup star appearances, the Chandler Lass-directed video does a good job to showcase women of different shapes, colours, sizes, and works of life. It goes in line with the singer’s goal to uplift women.
The video starts off with Latto and her fellow female celebrities dressed in black hot girl outfits in an enclosed space. They execute some expert choreography, enjoy a photoshoot, and light up a gloomy office space.
Before the release of the video, Latto took to her Instagram to share clips of the visuals asking her fans to find as many guest appearances as they could. “IT’S GIVING OUT NOW!!!👩💼👔💼🗂📓✒️🎰💅. How many cameos did y’all catch????” she captioned.

It’s Givin is from Latto’s most recent album, ‘777’ which was released in March this year as the first project under her new name. In an interview with Complex, she admitted to not crowding the album with features because she wanted to be the main attraction since it’s sort of a debut for her. The song is named after the popular feminine slang, ‘It’s Givin,’ and is an anthem for women to feel confident in their bodies typical of a “bad b*tch.”
Latto released a scathing post-Dobbs song titled P*ssy as a fight for reproductive rights. In her continued efforts to uplift women, she recently partnered with Planned Parenthood to support abortion rights considering the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe V. Wade.
“We already know who’s going to be hurt the most by these ridiculous abortion bans,” Latto said in a previous statement. “Black women, Brown women, the LGBTQ+ community, and communities with low incomes. Because of this country’s history of racism and discrimination, these folks already have a hard time getting the health care they need. We all deserve to be safe and it’s every person’s right to make decisions about their own bodies. As an artist, I want to use my platform to let these politicians know: My body is for no one to control, but me.”
