Rihanna’s fans are probably tightening their seat belts for a fun ride right now as the pop star teases a comeback with the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Ahead of the release of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie, Marvel Studios took to their official Instagram page to tease the forthcoming movie with a trailer. The teaser video shared by Marvel shows the title. Wakanda Forever transitioning to an ‘R’ graphic thereby giving the biggest hint yet that Rihanna is involved.

Fans of the Diamonds crooner filled the comment section to share their excitement about the new music. Reacting to the news, Rihanna also made a comment with a love emoji showing the was elated as well.

This news comes a week after rumors circulated that the Barbadian artist would make a comeback in the upcoming Wakanda Forever soundtrack. According to a post made HitsDailyDouble, the singer is said to have recorded two new songs for the Black Panther 2 movie.

Rihanna hasn’t released a project for five years since her last 2016 album, Anti, and only appeared as a featured vocalist in PartyNextDoor’s Believe It in 2020. The singer cum fashion entrepreneur has been focusing on her Fenty brand and recently unveiled the official teaser of Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4 which is slated to hold November 9, 2022.

Along the line of Rihanna’s much-anticipated comeback, fans had also gone hysterical when the Fenty entrepreneur made an announcement last month that she’ll be performing at the 2023 Super Halftime Bowl in January. The latest development on her appearance in the Wakanda Forever soundtrack comes as another pleasing news to lovers of BadGirlRiri.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the follow-up of the 2018 Black Panther movie which followed the story of Tchalla a crowned king, who is met with so many obstructions on his part to take his place as the king. The first Black Panther film featured an iconic soundtrack curated by Kendrick Lamar. K. Dot’s Oscar-nominated collaboration “All the Stars” with SZA.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will arrive in cinemas on Nov. 11, but Rihanna fans will get their wish sooner as the initial single is due to be released this week, on Friday, Oct. 28.
