Day #3 Of Gen B Magazine to showcase talent throughout Media, Creative and Advertising.

We do not believe there can possible be any ‘List’ of talent that does not include communities such as Black, African American, LGBTQ+, disABILITY, 50+, Religion and many others and therefore we will be highlighting talent across many communities over the next 6 days. Media and Advertising is a fantastic industry that IS making strives to become more diverse and welcoming to everyone – We believe this should be highlighted at any opportunity by Community and INDUSTRY press.

We also do not call any collection of talent ‘Top’ talent as we believe this is ‘impossible’ to say – therefore these lists will highlight many but certainly not even scratch the surface… This is NOT an extensive list but we hope it gives a window into the many impressive people that make up our industry.

Melisa Jones-

Teads, 6 years and counting experienced in Marketing Media and Digital Advertisings. She would describe herself to thrive from creative yet collaborative campaigns with the strength of a strategic forward-thinker. With that being said she is committed to creating a more equal society through her advocacy for DE&I.

Serhat Ekinci-

OMG Unite, currently Managing Director and OMG Unite OMG is a diversity agency that properly represents minorities. Over the past 6 years Ekinci has transformed OMG and has won several awards for his work.

Kazee Clement-

META, Program Lead she is skilled in many areas some examples of such would be; Vendor Managment, Public Speaking, Establishing Strategic Partnerships as well as Social Entrepreneurship. She was on that was apart of the ‘UK Pilot Program’ which launched in 2022 that specifically supports Black Owned SME’s in their Digital Marketing and Advertising through Facebook and Instagram. Her role in this was to drive strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan to support engagement and commitment to participants and leading the mentorship program.

Blair Imani-

SmarterInSeconds, with her passion of for education and her skills with social media and influencing she is able to claim the title of an acclaimed historian, author, influencer and educator. Some of her publications you may reference include but not limited to Read This to Get Smarter: about Race, Class, Gender, Disability, and More (2021), Making Our Way Home: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream (2020), and Modern HERstory: Stories of Women and Nonbinary People Rewriting History (2018).

Sarah Garrett

MBE/The LGBT Awards, CEO and founder of Investing in Ethnicity, a program that ensures the proper representation of minorities around the world. Garrett also leads the LGBT and ethnicity awards, an award that bringing attention to people who have positively impacted the LGBTQ community.

Michael Albert Brown-

UM, Managing Partner with 8 years and counting experience the mission he has with Clients and Brands is to help reach maximum growth potential present and future through media and culture.

Rachel Reese-

Global Butterflies, Co-founder of Global Butterflies, in which Global Butterflies, Working with clients in the UK, Europe, US, Canada and Hong Kong, Global Butterflies assists with training and creative solutions, advice and support. Their mission is to ensure support of employees that are of trans or non-binary community.

Sarah G. Puff-

Brand Advance Group, currently holds the title of Campaign Executive, she is responsible for analyzing and benchmarking of the larger campaigns such as META and the new COVID-19 Vaccination. Also, you can find her managing smaller campaigns such as STRVE and OUTtv, all while maintaining communication and relationships with the client. Her experience has always been numbers and stats as she previously worked as a marketing assistant and a private math and statistics tutor.

Assad Dhuna-

The Unmistakable, the CEO and Founder of The Unmistakables, a consulting company that focuses on Diversity and Inclusion. Over the past 4 years The Unmistakables has helped outside companies be more precise when it comes to diversity and inclusive marketing.

Davina Rajoopillai-

The Badlands, the executive producer of The Badlands, an independent film studio that focuses on making films that are both creative and trailblazing. Rajoopillai is also the founder of Racism Work, a research company that brings attention to acts of racism that have happened in the Advertising industry.

Minaxi Mistry-

Equality Leaders, focuses on educating about the importance of diversity and inclusion. For nearly 3 decades Minaxi Mistry has pushed for equality and representation for all through marketing. 

Dillip Shulka-

COURAGEOUS, Dillip is currently a consultant at COURAGEOUS. The mission here is to help media, creative, and advertising technology companies to scope new markets and monitor international growth. Previously working as Managing Director with the Brand Advance Group, where he was a part of helping brands reach Diversity at scale with authenticity.

Akeem Ali-

MA, Candidate in National Security Studies at King’s College London, where his background in arts is utilized to research and analyze policies ranging from intelligence and security theory to state building and democratic systems. He is driven by growth and shaping the evolution of organizational performance, content creation, and creative campaigns which boost business development and engagement.
